COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
We want everyone who engages with Lost Rift to feel welcome, safe, and heard. These guidelines apply to all official Lost Rift community spaces, including Discord, Steam Discussions, Twitch, and our social channels. They complement our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy, as well as the rules of any third-party platform you use.
Be Respectful
- Treat others with courtesy. Disagreements happen, harassment does not.
- Do not use hateful, discriminatory, or dehumanizing language.
- Do not bully, threaten, or target individuals or groups.
- Keep content appropriate for a broad audience where required by the channel.
Keep the Community Safe
- Do not share anyone’s personal or identifying information.
- Do not encourage violence or criminal activity.
- NSFW is strictly prohibited.
- If you see something unsafe, report it to moderators.
Do Not Disrupt
- No spamming, flooding, brigading, or derailing threads.
- No witch-hunts or call-outs that mobilize harassment.
- No stalking, doxing, or impersonation.
- No scams, phishing, or malicious links.
No Advertising or Solicitation
- Do not advertise or sell products, services, keys, or accounts in our official spaces.
- Real-money trading is not allowed.
- Fan projects are welcome when shared in the correct channel and without monetization or data collection, unless you have written permission.
Impersonation and Staff Safety
- Do not impersonate developers, moderators, or community team members.
- Official staff will never ask for your password, 2FA codes, or payment details.
- If someone claims to be staff and asks for sensitive info or directs you to a suspicious site, report them immediately.
Fair Play, Cheating, and Exploits
To protect the integrity of the game experience, the following are not allowed:
- Cheating or exploiting bugs. Examples include duplicating items, bypassing movement or world restrictions, modifying files to gain an advantage, or packet manipulation.
- Unauthorized client modifications or tools that reveal hidden information or alter gameplay.
Reporting Bugs and Exploits
If you discover a bug or exploit, do not use it for advantage. Report it privately to the team through the #support channel within the Discord. Users who report critical exploits privately may be rewarded for their assistance.
Usernames, Display Names, Avatars, and Profiles
Keep names, avatars, and profile content appropriate:
- No profanity or slurs, including disguised or obfuscated forms.
- No sexual or graphic content.
- No hate symbols, extremist imagery, or threats.
- No advertising, links, or promotional messaging.
- No impersonation of other players, creators, companies, or staff.
Names or avatars that violate these rules may be changed or removed. Repeated issues may result in further action.
Content Sharing and Spoilers
- Credit content creators when sharing art, videos, or guides. Do not share pirated content.
- Use spoiler tags where available for story details or unreleased content.
- Respect platform copyright and takedown rules.
Legal Compliance
Follow all applicable laws. Discussions that facilitate illegal activity or credible threats may be escalated to the appropriate authorities.
Moderation and Enforcement
Our moderation team may take action at their discretion based on context and history. Possible actions include:
- Gentle reminder or formal warning
- Temporary channel restrictions or timeouts
- Removal of posts or content
- Temporary or permanent bans from specific channels, platforms, or community spaces
How to Report
- Use the platform’s built-in report tools where available.
- For issues that require more detail, open a support ticket and include evidence such as screenshots, timestamps, video, and links.
- Reports about staff are handled with the same confidentiality and care as any other report.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can submit an appeal by opening a support ticket. Include the action taken, the date, your platform username, and any context that will help us review the decision.

We may update these guidelines as the game and community evolve. When updates occur, we will note the changes in our official channels.
