LOST RIFT SUPPORT
BEGINNER TROUBLESHOOTING
Disclaimer: Lost Rift is currently in Early Access. During this stage of active development, certain customer support issues may not be fully resolvable as the game continues to evolve. While some requests may fall outside the scope of what we can address at this time, we remain committed to assisting our players whenever possible. If you encounter a genuine issue that requires support, please open a ticket through our Discord and we will do our best to help.

If you continue to have issues with your GPU even though it meets the requirements:
- We encourage you to research the most stable version of your GPU driver.
- Try adjusting some of your game settings to find a stable compromise.
- For NVIDIA GPUs: Adjust your NVIDIA DLSS settings, and/or disable Ray Reconstruction.
We appreciate your understanding that the game’s performance may not meet expectations during Early Access development.
Does your CPU meet the minimum requirements?
Your CPU must support SSE4.2 and AVX2, which have been standard features on most CPUs since around 2013.
Is everything up to date?
If you have recently reinstalled Windows or Steam, ensure your Windows updates are complete, you’re running the latest GPU drivers, and that your game is up to date.
The main menu of your game will list a CL number. Please verify that the CL version is the most up-to-date version available. If yours is different, completely restart Steam to force a game update.
Have you verified game file integrity in Steam?
From your Steam Library:
- Right-click on Lost Rift.
- Select Properties.
- Select the ‘Installed Files‘ tab.
- Click the “Verify integrity of game files” button.

COMMON ISSUES
I am not able to connect to my island / I am getting disconnected from my island
Please try restarting your game and waiting a few minutes beforetrying to reconnect.
I am having issues with game performance / stuttering
Due to Early Access nature, Lost Rift is not fully optimized and this is something that we are continuing to work on. We kindly request that you adjust your settings and enable upscaling, depending on your graphics card.
My game is crashing shortly after opening it
A crash within the first 10 minutes of gameplay is commonly a result of a GPU crash. Please check that your GPU is on our list of supported graphics cards.
If you are on our supported list, we ask that you:
- Verify your game files. Lost Rift > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files
- Change your rendering settings from DLSS to see if the crash resolves.
- Consider switching your GPU driver to the driver that is most compatible with your specific GPU, especially if you are using a 40 or 50 series card.
My game is crashing, but infrequently
It is advised that you research which NVIDIA driver version is the most stable for your specific GPU. Disabling hardware ray tracing is also recommended.
